Create an organization

Set up your company's space in Skillsive — the home for trainees, headsets, trainings and certificates. It takes a few minutes.

An organization is your company's space in Skillsive: it holds trainees, VR headsets, trainings, results and certificates. Usually the person who will administer Skillsive creates it, right after creating an account.

Before you start

You need an activated account and to be logged in. No account yet? Start with Create a Skillsive account. Does your company already use Skillsive? Then don't create a second organization — join the existing one.

Choose "Create organization"

  1. 1Log in to Skillsive. If your account doesn't belong to any organization yet, you see the Let's get started screen. (You can also get there with Add organization in the side menu.)
  2. 2Click Create organization.

Fill in the form

  1. 1Company — your company name. It appears on reports and certificates, so use the official one.
  2. 2Contact email — the address we use to contact your organization.
  3. 3Meta account email — the email of the Meta account your VR headsets are signed in to.
  4. 4Country — where your company operates.
  5. 5Default language — the language set automatically when users log in to the VR app.
  6. 6Enabled languages — the languages trainees can pick in the app. English is always included.
  7. 7Click Continue.

What happens next

  • You land on the dashboard of the new organization, with a Start here checklist of the first steps.
  • You become its Admin (together with the Device Admin, User and Finance roles), so you can invite colleagues and pair headsets.
  • The organization starts with a free 7-day trial for one headset. We extend the trial after you contact us — write to us. For more headsets, ask for a plan — see Subscription and invoice details.

FAQ

I see "This organization already exists."

An organization with the same company name, contact email or Meta account email is already in Skillsive. Most likely your company already uses it — ask its Admin to invite you.

Can I change the details later?

Yes, in the organization profile. See Edit organization details.

Can one account belong to several organizations?

Yes. You switch between them with the organization selector at the top of the panel.
