- 4Enter a short code, for example
OSH. - 5Enter the registry name.
- 6Add a description if administrators need extra context.
- 7Set the number format.
- 8Save the type as active.
Number format
The number format can use these tokens:
{Code}— registry type code,{Year}— issue year,{Sequence}— sequential number in the registry.
Example format:
{Code}/{Year}/{Sequence}
For code OSH, this format can produce OSH/2026/001.
Registry type code
The code should be short and stable. After creating the registry type, do not treat the code like a normal display name for frequent changes, because it is part of certificate numbering.
Where it is used
Select the registry type in a certificate assignment. That tells Skillsive how to number certificates issued from that template and process.
