What an assignment links
In an assignment, you select:
- PDF template,
- instructor signature,
- registry type,
- training form,
- optional course,
- certificate title and description,
- duration, CPD points, and validity,
- validity calculation rule,
- enabled status.
Create the assignment
- 1Open Organization → Certificates.
- 2Go to the assignments section.
- 3Add a new assignment.
- 4Select an active template.
- 5Select an instructor signature if the certificate uses a signature or stamp.
- 6Select a registry type.
- 7Select a training form.
- 8Select a course or leave the assignment standalone.
- 9Fill in title, validity, and remaining details.
- 10Enable the assignment and save.
Assignment with a course
If you select a course, issue certificates from completions of that course. After saving, the course is treated as a fixed part of the configuration and should not be changed while editing.
Standalone assignment
If you do not select a course, the assignment is used for manual issuing from the certificate registry. Use it for documents that do not come directly from a Skillsive course completion.
Completeness
On the assignment list, check whether the configuration is complete. Missing active template, signature, or registry type can make the certificate unavailable for issuing.
