Every time someone starts a course in a VR headset, Skillsive saves a completion: who trained, on which headset, when, for how long and with what score. On the Completions page you find these results, filter them and take them out as a file — for your training records, an audit or a manager.
Who can use it
Available to organization Admins, when your plan includes the completion overview. Analysts see summary numbers on the dashboard only.
Find the completions you need
- 1In the side menu open Trainings → Completions.
- 2Narrow the list with the filters above the table: search by text, Course, Trainee, Device, Language, Country, Date from / Date to (launch date) and Status (Completed or In progress).
- 3Every active filter shows as a chip under the filters. Click the chip's cross to remove it.
Each row shows the course, the trainee, the score and progress, the start and finish time, the duration, and the language and country of the session. Certificate issued under the course name means a certificate was already issued for that completion.
Export the list to a file
- 1Set the filters first — the file contains all rows that match the filters, not only the page you see.
- 2Click Export at the top right of the table.
- 3Pick the File format:
- CSV (.csv) — opens in Excel and any spreadsheet tool,
- Excel (.xlsx) — an Excel workbook with numbers as numbers,
- PDF report — a summary report: applied filters, totals, a breakdown by training and the details.
- 4Pick the Data scope: Completions (one row per training, with a module summary) or Modules (one row per module, with its score and status).
- 5Click Export. The file downloads to your computer.
Row limits
CSV and Excel take up to 10,000 rows. A PDF report takes up to 2,000 completions, or 500 when you pick the Modules scope. Above the limit, narrow the filters — for example to one month or one course.
Open one person's result
- 1In the list, click the course name in the row you need. The Completion details page opens.
- 2You'll see the course, the trainee and the headset, the skills acquired, the latest result for each lesson and the full Lesson completions history (every attempt).
- 3At the top you'll find two buttons: Generate training report (PDF) and Generate certificate.
Generate a training report for one person
- 1On the completion details page click Generate training report (PDF). The window that opens is titled “Generate completion certificate”, but it creates the training report.
- 2Pick the Language of the document, or leave the default one.
- 3Tick Include lessons and Include skills if the report should list them.
- 4Click Generate — the PDF downloads.
The report confirms that the person completed the course in Skillsive. It is not an official document by itself.
Issue a certificate from a completion
Generate certificate issues a certificate from this completion. The button is active only when the course is at 100%, the completion belongs to a trainee (not a guest session), the trainee has not been anonymized, a certificate template is assigned to the course and no certificate was issued for it yet. Hover over the grey button to see why it is off. Step by step: Issue a certificate.
FAQ
The export says there are too many rows. What now?
Narrow the filters — a shorter date range, one course, one trainee or one device — and export again. You can export several smaller files.
Why is the CSV or Excel different from what I see on screen?
It is not — the file uses the same filters and the same date limits as the list. It only has all pages, not just the current one.
Why is "Generate certificate" grey?
The course is not at 100%, no trainee is assigned (a guest session), the trainee was anonymized, no certificate template is assigned to the course, or a certificate was already issued. The tooltip on the button tells you which one.
Can I export several times in a row?
Yes, but after many exports in a short time Skillsive asks you to wait a few minutes.
