Your account profile holds your own details — not your organization's. Here you correct your name, choose how the panel looks, decide about the newsletter and change your password.
Who can do this
Every panel account. Open Account → Account profile, or click your initials in the top-right corner and choose Profile.
Edit your details
- 1Open Account → Account profile.
- 2Click Edit.
- 3Correct your First name, Last name, Date of birth, Sex, Phone number, Country or Language.
- 4Click Save. Back closes the form without saving.
Your email address is shown under your name but cannot be changed here — it is the address you log in with.
Choose light or dark mode
In the Appearance card pick Light, Dark or System. With System the panel follows your computer's setting and switches automatically. The public website always stays light.
Turn the newsletter on or off
The Newsletter card shows whether you get the Skillsive newsletter — one short issue every other week about VR training and workplace safety. Click Turn the newsletter on or Turn the newsletter off. The change takes effect immediately.
Change your password
- 1Open Account → Security and scroll to Change password.
- 2Enter your Current password.
- 3Enter the New password and repeat it in Confirm new password. The Security requirements list below the fields checks the length; the other rules are checked when you save.
- 4Click Update password.
A new password must:
- be 12 to 72 characters long,
- contain an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a digit and a special character,
- not contain the part of your email address before the @,
- differ from your current password and from passwords you used recently,
- not appear in known data breaches.
Easy to remember, hard to guess
Join a few unrelated words with digits and a symbol, for example Forklift-Lemon7-Harbor!. A few words are enough — keep it within the 72-character limit.
After the change we send you an email confirming it — if you did not change the password yourself, reset it right away and tell your organization's administrator. After too many failed attempts the form asks you to wait 15 minutes.

I forgot my current password. How do I change it?

Can I change the email address I log in with?
Not from the profile. Contact your organization's administrator or write to [email protected].
Does changing my password log me out of other devices?
It does not end your other sessions automatically. To be sure, open Active sessions and log out the ones you do not need.
