The Skillsive update of September 16, 2026 is mostly about the organization panel. The headline change: the panel shows which headsets are switched on right now and what is happening on them, and you can stop or start a lesson without walking over to the trainee.
Below is what an organization admin will actually see. Technical changes with nothing on screen are left out.
Dashboard: see what needs attention first
After signing in you land on a dashboard that sums up your organization. At the top, a "Needs attention" bar lists what to act on: an expiring subscription, a missing data processing agreement, a full headset limit, certificates about to expire or headsets nobody uses. Every tile opens the matching list.
Below that are six indicators for the last 7, 30 or 90 days and a day-by-day activity chart. You also get subscription status (device seats and languages in use), the most launched trainings and recent completions. A brand-new organization sees a list of first steps instead of empty charts.
The menu got tidier as well. It is grouped into Learners, Trainings, Certificates, Devices and Organization settings, in the order you usually work through them.
Live headsets and remote lesson control
The device list and headset details show whether a headset is online and what it is doing: the menu or a specific lesson, for how many minutes, with what score and who is training. Battery level, app version and approximate country are there too. Headsets appear as online once the VR app is updated.
From the panel you can stop a lesson and return to the menu, end it with the current score, start a chosen lesson or switch the trainee. It works on one headset or several selected at once, so whoever runs a group session stays in one place. Read more about VR headset management.
Four tiles above the device list show how many subscription seats are taken (for example 2/10), how many headsets are online, how many were used in the last 30 days and how many have been idle for longer. Hardware sitting in a cupboard is easy to spot.
Pairing is simpler too. After you enter the code from the headset, the panel recognizes a device already in your organization and goes straight to confirmation. Signing the same headset in again creates no duplicate and takes no extra seat. The model list now includes Pico G3, Pico Neo 3 Pro, Pico Neo 3 Pro Eye, Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise and Pico G2 4K Enterprise.
Set up certificates with a wizard
The certificate Overview now has a progress list with a "steps done" bar and a button that guides you through setup: instructor signature, register type, PDF template and the link to a course. In each step you pick an existing item or create a new one. The last step already holds your earlier choices, so all that is left is picking the course.
Progress is saved in the browser. Close the page, come back the next day and carry on. The "+" buttons on the Overview tiles open the add form in the right tab.
Learner data privacy in one place
Organization settings have a new privacy and compliance section. It holds the current data processing agreement, the list of companies that help us process learner data and the certificate retention period. From there you can export all organization data to a file or anonymize learners, with a PDF report of exactly what was removed.
The same section has an access log: who viewed, exported or imported learner data, and when. Filter it by date and operation type and download it for an audit. When the subprocessor list changes, admins get a panel notification and an email with the effective date.
Report bugs and ideas from the panel
You can report a bug or suggest an improvement from anywhere in the panel. Pick what it is about (the panel, a VR app, a course, headsets, certificates), how much it gets in your way, and attach screenshots or a screen recording up to 100 MB. Follow the status under "My reports"; every status change shows up in the notification bell.

Dark mode and clearer language counts
The panel follows your device settings: with dark mode on, it opens dark. You can also pick a theme permanently from the menu under your avatar or in your account profile. Language and country names are shown in the language you view the panel in, and language lists are sorted alphabetically.
Pricing and the panel now show the total number of app languages with a breakdown, such as "3 app languages (English + 2 of your choice)". Paid plans include the same as before. The trial gains: the free plan has two languages, English plus one of your choice, so you can test training in your team's language from day one. Details are on the pricing page.
What is new on the Skillsive website
The home page is faster and lighter, especially on phones. There are new pages for EHS, HR and training companies (menu "Product", "Who it's for"), and a new VR LMS guide explains how a headset training system differs from a regular LMS.
In the VR and AR headset catalogue, devices on sale now show an indicative price and a link to the shop. There is also a "Get a fleet quote" form: tell us how many headsets you need and by when, and we come back with an offer. The Help Center now has all 33 articles in French as well.
Where to start
Sign in and open the dashboard. If your headsets do not show as online, update the VR app on them. Then run the certificate wizard if you have not set certificates up yet.
