The Skillsive update of July 24, 2026 brings one big thing you see straight away: a new section of free tools for people who work in workplace safety, fire protection and VR training. It is a set of calculators, knowledge bases and comparisons you use right in the browser — with no account.
This is a summary for customers, not a technical changelog — it describes what you will actually see on the site. In short: you get tools that work out a cost, a saving or the required fire-resistance class on the spot, show you which training is mandatory, and tell you which VR hardware fits a rollout.
The new Tools section: free calculators and knowledge bases
At /tools we launched a collection of free tools for anyone interested in workplace safety and VR training. Each one runs in the browser, needs no account, and the numbers you enter are never stored on our servers. It is an open part of the site you can use and share with colleagues.
We prepared these tools over the past weeks together with EHS trainers and fire-safety inspectors — so that they calculate exactly what practitioners need and speak the language of the regulations rather than jargon. The result is several groups of tools.
Cost and decision calculators
The VR training ROI calculator shows annual savings, the cost per trained employee in both models and how many months it takes headsets to pay for themselves. Fields start at zero — we assume nothing for you, and every assumption carries a source and a verification date.
The workplace accident cost calculator estimates absence, downtime, cover, damage and claims in PLN, EUR, USD or GBP, with one-click worked examples. And a funding calculator for Poland's KFS scheme (Polish only, because it is a Polish instrument) works out the estimated subsidy and the employer's share, reflecting the rates and caps changed in 2026. Everything is computed in the browser, and a link with your numbers can be sent to someone — it opens with the same result.
Fire-safety tools
A fire load density (Q_d) calculator based on the Polish PN-B-02852 standard returns a result in MJ/m², translates it into the required fire-resistance class of the building, and generates a PDF report ready to attach to documentation. You add combustible materials from a searchable list or your own, and the tool shows the range and related technical requirements live.
A separate finder gathers fire-safety inspector course dates — full (SIOP) and refresher (SIOPA) — from every accredited provider in Poland, in list and calendar views, with filters by type, region, mode and price. It also includes the KW PSP training center in Warsaw, which runs its courses in VR on EHS VR applications — a real center where an inspector can already take part of the course in a headset. That is a direct result of working with the firefighting community.
Knowledge bases and the headset comparison
A "required EHS training" tool shows which courses a given job group needs and how often to repeat them, with a link to the exact regulation. An ISO 7010 safety-sign index lets you search pictograms by code or meaning. And a free workplace-accident statistics dashboard turns official Polish (GUS) and Eurostat data into interactive charts you can download as PNG or CSV and cite.
The VR/AR headset comparison deserves its own mention. You compare models not by pixel count but by what matters for a company rollout: kiosk mode, fleet management, standalone operation and — most importantly — a clear answer on whether our training runs on them. The database holds a dozen-plus models, and PC-only VR hardware is clearly flagged as incompatible with our Android apps. You place any two or three models side by side, and a link with the comparison can be sent to someone.
Sliders, examples and sharing in the calculators
Across all the calculators (VR training ROI, accident cost, KFS funding) every field now has a slider with a realistic range — yet you can still type any number outside it. Each calculator also has a set of ready examples (small, medium and large company): you click, see how the tool works, then change the values to your own. There is also a "Copy link" button to send someone a finished result.
