VIVE Focus Vision — specification and verdict
VIVE Focus Vision lists the highest resolution in this comparison at 2,448 x 2,448 pixels per eye, with a field of view up to 120 degrees, 90 Hz standalone and 120 Hz over a DisplayPort connection. Interpupillary distance adjusts automatically between 57 and 72 mm — the only motorised adjustment among these models, and a real advantage when a headset passes between people all day. Tracking uses four cameras across areas up to 10 by 10 metres, with 120 Hz eye tracking on board. HTC publishes no weight anywhere, so the ≈785 g shown here is a hands-on measurement, marked as such.
HTC still sells first-party fleet tooling: VIVE Business+ handles remote monitoring and settings across devices, alongside support for Intune, VMware and third-party platforms. The Business Edition bundles two years of VIVE Business Warranty & Services, and commercial use requires activating that warranty within 90 days — a licensing detail worth catching before deployment rather than after. Face and rear cushions are magnetic and swappable, and the wipeable surface is designed for shared use. It is available through HTC's European business store, Poland included.
Choose VIVE Focus Vision when visual fidelity and large tracked areas matter — walkthroughs of real-scale spaces, detailed inspection work — and when you want warranty and management under a commercial agreement rather than consumer terms. The automatic interpupillary adjustment quietly removes one of the most-skipped setup steps in shared training.

Average pixel density is our own arithmetic: panel pixels divided by the field of view on the same axis. It is the standard approximation, and it runs lower than a published peak figure because a lens packs pixels denser at the centre.
Who this device is for
Focus Vision is for organisations that need one headset to do two jobs: standalone training on the shop floor, and wired PC VR for a simulator or an engineering review. It ships with vendor device management, kiosk mode, enterprise licensing and eye tracking, our courses run on it, and it is one of the few devices here still sold as a business product rather than a consumer one.
How it differs from its predecessor
Against VIVE XR Elite it is a heavier, more capable machine: 2448x2448 per eye against 1920x1920, 120 degrees of field of view, eye tracking on board and a DisplayPort mode the Elite reaches only over Wi-Fi. Against Quest 3 it is twice the price and 270 g heavier, and it buys back the fleet management Meta no longer sells.
What is missing, and what the manufacturer does not publish
At 785 g it is the heaviest device in this class and the weight is a third-party measurement, not an HTC figure. Storage is 128 GB, the lowest of the enterprise headsets here, and the DisplayPort mode needs the separate wired streaming kit plus a capable PC. The content ecosystem is also smaller than Meta's — for training that matters less, because the application is yours.

- What is DisplayPort mode on the VIVE Focus Vision?
- A wired connection that turns the standalone headset into a PC VR display, with the computer doing the rendering and no Wi-Fi compression in the path. It needs HTC's streaming kit and a capable PC, and it is the reason to choose this headset over a purely standalone one.
- Is the VIVE Focus Vision too heavy for long training sessions?
- At around 785 g it is the heaviest headset most buyers will consider, but the weight sits in a balanced halo strap with a rear battery, which is why reviewers report it wearing better than the number suggests. For hour-long sessions it is workable; for a full day, plan breaks regardless of headset.
