VITURE Luma Ultra — specification and verdict
Luma Ultra is the one model in VITURE’s line that is not just a screen you wear. A front RGB camera and two grayscale depth cameras feed a chip that computes six-degree-of-freedom tracking on the glasses themselves, so a window can be pinned in the room rather than floating in front of your face. It is also the brightest of the Luma family at 1500 nits, with HARMAN-tuned audio and a 152-inch virtual screen at 52 degrees. Read the platform caveat before buying for that: VITURE’s own FAQ says 6DoF and gesture tracking work through SpaceWalker on desktop or through the separately sold Pro Neckband, and are not supported on iOS or Android at all. The 6DoF chip is never named — no vendor, no part number.
The most interesting VITURE for a workplace, and the one whose limits are easiest to miss. The cameras and the on-glasses 6DoF are real hardware, and VITURE names business use itself — "designed for intense daily use at both the personal and enterprise level". But nothing runs on the glasses: they carry no OS, and every spatial feature is consumed by SpaceWalker on a desktop or by the separately sold Pro Neckband. VITURE has promised a Unity SDK in identical wording in both its 2025 and its 2026 buyers’ guide, with no name, version or date, and that SDK is tied to the neckband rather than to the glasses. There is no fleet management and no enterprise licensing. The camera has an indicator light and ships covered by a sticker, which is the right default for a workplace and worth knowing before a privacy conversation.
A genuinely unusual product: 6DoF computed in an 83-gram pair of tethered glasses is something nothing else in this catalogue does. The catch is that the capability is platform-gated in a way the product page does not lead with — 6DoF and gestures do nothing at all on iOS or Android, and gesture tracking was still "not yet available" on desktop at the time of checking. The 6DoF chip is unnamed. The specification table is also thinner than its cheaper siblings’: no refresh-rate row, no virtual-screen row and no eye-care row, so three headline figures exist only in marketing prose.

Who this device is for
VITURE names the audience itself: "Business partners, AR game developers, and prosumers", and calls the product "designed for intense daily use at both the personal and enterprise level". The hardware follows — a front RGB camera, two grayscale depth cameras and a chip that computes 6DoF on the glasses — which makes it the only VITURE anyone could plausibly build a spatial application around, provided they accept where that application has to run.
How it differs from its predecessor
Against the plain Luma it adds the entire camera and tracking stack, 500 more nits and HARMAN audio, for 200 dollars more and 6 grams. Against VITURE’s Beast it is dimmer and narrower — VITURE’s own comparison gives the Beast a 174-inch screen at 58 degrees against this 152 at 52 — but the Beast has no 6DoF chip. Against the XREAL 1S, which XREAL sells as its own spatial entry point, the 1S computes 3DoF and converts 2D to 3D in the frame where this computes full 6DoF, but the 1S costs 150 dollars less and works from any USB-C host without an accessory.
What is missing, and what the manufacturer does not publish
The 6DoF chip that is the product’s headline is never named — no vendor, no part number, in any VITURE material. Nor is any tracking rate, latency or drift figure published, and the three cameras get no resolution, field of view or frame rate. The specification table is thinner than the cheaper Luma’s: it has no refresh-rate row, no virtual-screen row and no eye-care row, so 120 Hz, 152 inches and the SGS certification exist only in prose. The promised Unity SDK has been "coming" in identical wording for over a year and is tied to the Pro Neckband rather than the glasses. And a buyer cannot tell from the product page that 6DoF and gestures do nothing on iOS or Android without opening the sixth FAQ entry.

- Does the 6DoF work with a phone?
- No. VITURE’s own FAQ is explicit: SpaceWalker for Android supports 3DoF within the app but not 6DoF or gesture tracking, and neither is supported on iOS. The six-degree-of-freedom tracking works through SpaceWalker on macOS and Windows, or through the separately sold Pro Neckband. The chip is in the glasses; the software that uses it is not on a phone.
- What happens to the camera in a workplace?
- VITURE has set sensible defaults. The front RGB camera ships physically covered by a sticker and will not operate unless the wearer enables it, and an indicator light comes on when it is active. The two grayscale cameras activate only for 6DoF tracking and, per VITURE, capture nothing else by default. That is a better starting position than most camera-carrying glasses, but it is still a policy conversation before a deployment, not after.
