RayNeo Air 3s Pro — specification and verdict
The Air 3s Pro is the brightness upgrade of the Air 3s and little else: 1200 nits to-eye against 650, in an identical 76-gram frame with the same 0.6-inch tandem micro-OLED panels, the same 47-degree figure and the same 201-inch virtual screen at six metres. RayNeo calls it the brightest AR glasses made. What the extra thirty dollars also buys is six colour modes instead of four, twenty brightness steps instead of stepless control, and spatial audio layered on top of the Whisper Mode leak reduction. There is no battery, no camera, no microphone and no tracking — it is a monitor you wear, powered by whatever you plug it into.
The same class of device as the rest of the Air family: a wearable display with nothing to deploy onto it. No SDK, no fleet management, no enterprise programme. Where it does have a workplace argument the cheaper Air 3s does not is brightness — 1200 nits to-eye is roughly what it takes to keep a virtual screen readable in a bright room or outdoors, and RayNeo’s own framing is "from sunny parks to pitch-dark rooms". Twenty discrete brightness steps and a Professional colour mode with high colour accuracy are the other practical differences.
The most sensible of the three if you want a wearable screen you can actually use in daylight, and it costs thirty dollars more than the Air 3s for double the brightness at identical weight and field of view. Two things to know. RayNeo contradicts itself on that field of view on this very page — a 46-degree hero badge against a 47-degree spec entry — and never names the axis either figure is measured on, so it cannot be compared with a rival quoting a diagonal. And unlike the Air 3s page, this one publishes no prescription range at all, so a buyer with a strong prescription has to ask before ordering.

Who this device is for
For the buyer who has already decided on a wearable screen and wants one usable outside a dim room. RayNeo pitches it as "Ultimate 201-inch Display with 1200 nits for Pro Entertainment", and brightness really is the whole argument: everything else about the hardware is the Air 3s. Six colour modes and twenty brightness steps give more control over how it looks, and spatial audio is layered on top of RayNeo’s leak-reducing Whisper Mode.
How it differs from its predecessor
Against the Air 3s it is double the brightness at identical weight, identical panels and an identical 47-degree figure — a pure display upgrade for thirty dollars. Against the Air 4 Pro it matches the nits and the six colour modes but has no HDR10, no Vision 4000 processor and no Bang & Olufsen tuning; it does, however, still publish a field of view, which the Air 4 Pro does not. Against the XREAL xbx a01+, the other bright budget viewer here, the a01+ is brighter still at 1600 nits and lighter at 62 grams, but has HDR where this has none.
What is missing, and what the manufacturer does not publish
RayNeo contradicts its own field-of-view figure on this very page: the hero badge says 46 degrees and the product-keyed spec entry says 47. Neither names the axis, so the number cannot be compared with a rival quoting a diagonal. Unlike the Air 3s page, this one publishes no prescription range, so a buyer with a strong correction cannot self-qualify. There are no frame dimensions, no material and no IP rating anywhere, no downloadable manual on RayNeo’s support hub, and no SDK, developer documentation or enterprise route of any kind — developer.rayneo.com does not resolve. It also names no display processor, which the newer Air 4 Pro does.

- If you use it anywhere with daylight, yes: 1200 nits to-eye against 650 is the difference between a readable screen and a washed-out one, and everything else — weight, panels, field of view, virtual screen size — is the same. If you only ever watch in a dark room, the Air 3s has the better dimming behaviour, because it is stepless where this one has twenty fixed steps.
- Does the "3D surround sound that follows your head" mean it tracks my head?
- No. That is an audio algorithm, not display tracking. RayNeo is explicit elsewhere in the Air family that these glasses use a fixed display rather than spatial anchoring — the screen sits in front of your eyes and moves with them. Nothing in this family holds an image in place in the room.
