QWR VRone PC — specification and verdict
The VRone PC has no computer of its own: it hangs off a desktop GPU over DisplayPort 1.4 and USB 3.2, so everything a trainee sees is rendered by the workstation it is plugged into. The panel is a single LCD giving 1832x1920 per eye at 120 Hz, with 95 degrees of visible horizontal field of view and an RGB-stripe subpixel layout, which is enough to read instrument labels and gauge markings in a simulator scene. Four cameras do inside-out 6DoF tracking with no base stations, and passthrough is grayscale only, so a trainee can find the desk and the controllers but cannot read a printed checklist through it. The two bundled DPVR E4 controllers run on a single AA cell each for about 6 hours, which means a fleet needs a battery routine rather than a charging dock. Our own Android training courses do not run on this headset at all — it is a SteamVR display, not an application platform.
There is no vendor MDM and no kiosk mode, because there is no headset operating system to manage: fleet control means managing the Windows workstations, and the headset is a peripheral on the inventory list. QWR sells this through an enterprise motion — the product page ends in a pilot request, not a buy button — and the only price we could find is an Indian distributor listing rather than a published figure from the maker. Distribution is India-first: BIS certification, Make in India Class 1 status and DPDP-aligned data residency are the selling points, and we found no Polish or German channel, no EU warranty path and no local spares. Hygiene is a silicone facial interface, but QWR does not say whether it detaches for cleaning or whether replacements are sold. Budget separately for a VR-capable workstation per seat, which will usually cost more than the headset.
Do not buy this for our courses; they are Android standalone applications and this device cannot run them. It is a reasonable choice only if you are already committed to a PC-rendered SteamVR simulator, you are procuring inside India, and the sovereign-hardware requirements — BIS, Make in India, local data residency — are what is driving the decision. Outside India there is no support story we could verify, and a mainstream PC VR headset will be easier to service.

Who this device is for
This is for Indian aerospace, defence and engineering teams that already run SteamVR simulators on workstations and need hardware that satisfies domestic procurement rules. It is not for a training department that wants headsets a trainee can pick up and use unattended, and it is not for anyone buying outside India, where the channel and the support path both disappear.
What is missing, and what the manufacturer does not publish
QWR's own page markets "4K+ per eye" and pancake optics, while VRcompare — which identifies the device as a rebranded DPVR E4 — records 1832x1920 per eye and Fresnel lenses; we could not resolve that contradiction, so we kept the specific figure and left the optics type blank. The maker publishes no price, no warranty terms, no support end date, no weight and no dimensions of its own, so almost every number here is second-hand. Nothing states whether the facial interface is replaceable, and the Bluetooth version is unspecified.
QWR VRone PC — frequently asked questions
- Can QWR VRone PC run Skillsive VR training courses?
- No. The VRone PC has no processor of its own — it draws its image from a desktop GPU over DisplayPort 1.4 and USB 3.2 and appears to the system as a SteamVR display. Our courses are standalone Android applications and there is nothing on this headset to install them onto. If the training has to run on the headset itself, choose a standalone Android device instead.
- Is the QWR VRone PC just a rebranded DPVR E4?
- VRcompare records it as exactly that, and the specification it lists — 1832x1920 per eye, 120 Hz, four tracking cameras, a 280 g headset and a controller literally named the DPVR E4 Controller — matches. QWR itself does not mention DPVR anywhere, presenting the headset as Make in India Class 1 hardware with BIS certification and a sovereign firmware architecture. Both things can be true of an ODM build, but the maker never addresses it.
- Can I buy the QWR VRone PC in Poland or Germany?
- We found no European seller, no EU distributor and no published warranty path outside India. QWR's product page routes buyers to a pilot request instead of a store, and the only listing we located was an Indian distributor. For a European deployment, plan on importing directly and on having no local spares or service, or pick a headset with an established EU channel.
