The Z100 is 35 g of monocular green micro-LED display at about 30°, with no camera and no speakers, driven over Bluetooth by a phone. It was built to push short prompts and confirmations into a worker's eye, and its quoted battery life — measured in days rather than hours — is the point of that simplicity.

Applications are phone applications built against the Ultralite SDK, so a third party can absolutely ship one and push step-by-step text. What is missing is the hardware: Vuzix has removed it from its lineup and its store now carries only accessories.

Treat it as an end-of-life reference design rather than a product to standardise on. If the idea appeals — text in the corner of the eye, all day, with no camera — the Even G2 is the pair still being sold.
