Rokid Glasses — specification and verdict
Rokid Glasses weigh 49 g and carry their own Snapdragon, memory, Wi-Fi and a 12 MP camera, with a monochrome micro-LED image across both eyes at 30 degrees and up to 1500 nits. That combination is unusual: most glasses this light are a display for a phone, and this one is a small computer.
Rokid names no third-party application path for these glasses on the product page, and there is no device management. Whatever an organisation wanted to run on them would be a conversation with Rokid rather than a package you install, which is what keeps them out of a deployment plan.
The most convincing pair of AI glasses here on hardware terms — light, bright, independent of a phone, and with a camera, which the Even G2 lacks. Still an assistant rather than a work tool: 30 degrees of monochrome text is a prompt, not an instruction with a diagram.

Who this device is for
Rokid Glasses are a standalone pair of AI glasses: 49 g, a binocular waveguide at 1500 nits and a Snapdragon AR1 doing the work on-device rather than in a phone. That independence is what separates them from most of this class — and they remain a consumer product, with no fleet management and no support for our courses.
How it differs from its predecessor
Against the Meta Ray-Ban Display it is standalone rather than phone-dependent and binocular rather than monocular, from a manufacturer with a much smaller software ecosystem. Against the RayNeo X3 Pro it is lighter and simpler, with a vendor SDK rather than plain Android application support.
What is missing, and what the manufacturer does not publish
Applications need Rokid's SDK, so there is no ordinary APK route, and there is no device management or enterprise licensing. Rokid publishes no battery figure in the source we cite. Our courses do not run on them, and as with every camera-carrying pair here, workplace use is a policy question first.

- They carry a Snapdragon AR1 and run Rokid's own OS, so the assistant, the display and the camera work without a phone doing the processing. It costs weight and battery compared with a phone-tethered design, and it removes the dependency on which handset the wearer owns.
- Can we build our own application for Rokid Glasses?
