PICO 4 Enterprise — specification and verdict
PICO 4 Enterprise, revealed in Lisbon in October 2022, is the business twin of PICO 4 with the sensors the consumer model does not have: two infrared eye-tracking cameras and a face-tracking camera, alongside a 16 MP RGB camera for full-colour see-through. The display is 2160 x 2160 per eye at 72 or 90 Hz behind pancake optics with a 105-degree field of view, driven by a Snapdragon XR2 with 8 GB of LPDDR5 and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage on an Android 10 base. PICO publishes both weights, which is rare: 591 g complete and 300 g without the head straps. Interpupillary distance adjusts in software across 62 to 72 mm, a quiet cooling fan works against lens fogging, and PICO quotes more than two hours from the 5300 mAh rear-mounted pack.
This is where the Enterprise SKU earns its price. PICO ships the Business Suite and the Business Store, documents compatibility with third-party MDM platforms, and exposes system and home-screen configuration through APIs — so a fleet can be locked to one course rather than to a consumer launcher. Eye tracking is the part worth planning around: gaze data is an input modality and an analytics source, which for inspection or attention-critical training is something no Quest in this comparison offers. The lifecycle is the caveat. PICO's current business headset is the 4 Ultra Enterprise, sales here go through an enquiry rather than a cart, and we could not confirm a Polish purchase route for this SKU, so it is recorded as absent.
Do not start a new fleet on it in 2026 — PICO's own answer to that question is the 4 Ultra Enterprise, on newer silicon with the same management stack. But if you already run PICO 4 Enterprise units, you own something genuinely hard to replace at the price: a managed, eye-tracked fleet device our courses run on. Keep them in service, and buy the Ultra when you extend.

Who this device is for
PICO 4 Enterprise is a fleet device from the previous generation and still a sensible one: eye tracking, device management, kiosk mode and enterprise licensing on the same 2160x2160 pancake panel as the consumer PICO 4. Our courses run on it. Buy it where budget matters more than the newest processor, and PICO 4 Ultra Enterprise where it does not.
How it differs from its predecessor
Against PICO 4 Ultra Enterprise it is a generation behind on silicon — Snapdragon XR2 against XR2 Gen 2, 8 GB against 12 GB — and behind on mixed reality. What it has that the consumer PICO 4 does not, and that the Ultra Enterprise also has, is the whole management layer plus eye tracking, which is rare at this price.
What is missing, and what the manufacturer does not publish
The 591 g and 120-minute battery are the practical limits for long sessions, and the passthrough is not comparable to the current generation. Storage is fixed at 256 GB. As with every PICO device, confirm the sales and support channel in your country before ordering a fleet — that varies more than the specification does.

- Does PICO 4 Enterprise have eye tracking?
- Yes, and that makes it unusual at this price: the consumer PICO 4 does not, and neither does PICO 4 Ultra. For a training programme that means gaze data on a hazard is available on a device that also has kiosk mode and central management.
- Is PICO 4 Enterprise still a reasonable buy in 2026?
- As a budget fleet device, yes — it has the management layer Meta no longer sells and runs our courses. If mixed-reality exercises or the newest processor matter, PICO 4 Ultra Enterprise is the same idea one generation on, and the price difference is smaller than the setup time you save on either.
