INMO GO3 — specification and verdict
GO3 is built around live translation on the lens: a binocular green micro-LED waveguide at 640×480 per eye and 1500 nits, 98 languages online and nine translated on-device with no network at all. The design decision that separates it from everything else here is power — instead of a bigger cell, INMO fits a magnetic 270 mAh module you snap out and replace in about five seconds while still wearing the glasses, with a 1300 mAh case that charges two at once. It runs a real-time OS rather than Android with 64 GB of storage, weighs 58 grams, and takes input from a temple touchpad, physical buttons, the phone app or a separately sold ring. It carries a physical camera cover.
The hot-swap battery is the part a workplace should actually weigh. A device that never has to come off to charge is a different proposition from one that does, and INMO ships two modules and a case that charges both. Against that: GO3 runs a real-time OS rather than Android, and INMO’s own developer platform and Unity SDK support the Air3 only, so there is no route for anyone else’s application. There is no fleet management, no kiosk mode and no enterprise licensing, and INMO publishes no user manual or support section for GO3 at all — its support site covers four older products and not this one.
A well-specified translation tool with one genuinely original idea: swap the cell in five seconds without taking the glasses off. Offline translation for nine languages on-device is the other practical strength, because it survives a site with no signal. What is missing is unusual for a product sold into the EU and UK with published per-country shipping rates: no CE, no FCC, no RoHS, no IP rating, nothing. The radio stack is undocumented too — no Wi-Fi generation and no Bluetooth version appear anywhere, on a device whose headline feature is cloud translation.

Who this device is for
INMO segments it itself on its own homepage — “GO3 FOR LEADERS”, “GO3 FOR SALES”, “GO3 FOR EARLY ADOPTERS”, “GO3 FOR TRAVELERS” — under the line “From global meetings to new cities, GO3 helps you translate conversations, navigate hands-free, capture ideas, and stay confidently connected.” In practice it is a translation device first: 98 languages online, nine of them offline on the glasses themselves.
How it differs from its predecessor
Against Rokid Glasses, the closest thing here, GO3 has the same idea of a binocular waveguide but adds the hot-swap battery and a much wider translation set. Against Rokid AI Glasses Style it is the opposite trade: Style has no display and a wider prescription range, GO3 puts the translation on the lens. Against Even Realities G2 it is heavier and more feature-dense; against Brilliant Labs Halo it is closed where Halo is open — INMO’s SDK supports its Air3 and not this.
What is missing, and what the manufacturer does not publish
No certification of any kind is published — no CE, no FCC, no RoHS, no IP rating — which is striking for a product INMO ships into the EU and UK with a published per-country rate card. There is no user manual and no support section for GO3 at all; INMO’s support site carries Air3, GO, GO2 and Air2 and stops there. The connectivity specification is simply absent: no Wi-Fi generation, no Bluetooth version, on a device whose main feature depends on the network. No camera specification is published either — no megapixels, no sensor, no video resolution, only a 60-second clip limit. The processor is described as “Dual-core CPU” with no vendor or part number, and the only memory figure INMO prints sits in a row it labels Storage. And there is no developer path: INMO’s own platform post limits SDK support to the Air3.

- That is what INMO claims, in those words: a magnetic 270 mAh module that snaps out and back in about five seconds while the glasses stay on your face. It is the only device in this catalogue that answers runtime this way, and for a long shift it is a more practical answer than a bigger cell — the trade is a smaller battery and one more small thing to lose.

- For nine languages, yes — INMO says those are processed on the glasses themselves, with 98 more available online. That matters more than the raw language count for anywhere with poor signal, which is most of a factory floor or a basement plant room.
