Frequently asked questions

Is the VR training ROI calculator free?
Yes. It is free, needs no account and no email address, and there is no limit on how many scenarios you run. The arithmetic happens in your browser, so the figures you type are not sent to our servers.
What does the calculator actually compute?
Two annual totals — your training today and the same training with part of it moved into VR — plus two lines a pure price comparison drops: the safety officer hours automated record-keeping gives back, and the incidents you avoid. It also shows the payback month for the headsets.
Do I have to replace my trainer with VR to make the numbers work?
No, and the model is built the other way round. You set what share of the course moves into a headset; the rest stays with the instructor at full cost. A business case that only works by firing the trainer is not one we would defend.
Can I share the result with my manager?
Yes. The Share button copies a link that carries your inputs, so the person who opens it sees the same scenario. You can also embed the calculator on your own site with the snippet under the tool.
Are the default numbers a price list?
No. They are placeholders for a plausible mid-sized company. Overwrite every one of them, including the subscription line — what a licence costs depends on how many courses, languages and people you need.
