Meta Quest 3 vs Apple Vision Pro

A training fleet decision that the specification sheet answers the wrong way.

Compared purely on display, Apple Vision Pro wins and it is not close: micro-OLED panels, 23 million pixels in total, refresh rates up to 120 Hz. Quest 3 answers with 2,064 x 2,208 per eye behind pancake optics at a fraction of the cost. If this were a question about image quality, the article would end here — but a training rollout is not decided by image quality.

It is decided by whether you can buy the devices, share them, clean them and manage them. Quest 3 is officially sold in Poland, has a silicone facial interface for shared use, and is supported by an established third-party fleet-management ecosystem. Apple does not sell Vision Pro in Poland at all, we could not confirm any vendor kiosk or device-management tier for visionOS from Apple's own specifications, and its external battery on a cable is awkward when a headset changes hands every twenty minutes.

Which one for training?

For training a workforce, Quest 3 — the budget that buys one Vision Pro buys a shareable fleet with a support path. Vision Pro earns its place as a demonstration device for executives or clients, where the point is to show what the best mixed reality feels like rather than to put twenty people through a safety module before lunch.
