ISO is international, but this language version is not country-specific legal advice.

Is ISO 7010 international?

Yes. ISO 7010 creates a shared system of safety sign shapes, colours and symbols intended to reduce reliance on written language. Local law can still add requirements for placement, supplementary wording, dimensions or sector-specific signs.

How to use this index

Search by code when you know it, or filter by family and use everyday terms. Each card gives the meaning and typical context. Use the official ISO link to inspect the pictogram, and verify any real installation against current local requirements.

ISO 7010 questions

Does this index contain every ISO 7010 sign?
The index is intended to cover the complete 332-code documented snapshot for ISO 7010:2019 with Amendments 1–11, dated 21 July 2026. It is not an official registry; withdrawn signs and draft ISO/DIS 7010 additions are excluded.
Are ISO 7010 signs the same in every country?
The ISO code and pictogram are international, but national rules may add signs, words or installation requirements.
Why are the pictograms not displayed here?
This site keeps a text-only educational index and links to ISO's official record instead of reproducing ISO graphics.
